The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a research-intensive institution, that is internationally renowned for research excellence, placed in the world top 50 for research impact and ranked in the world's top 100 universities for research excellence.
Norwich Business School (NBS) is the largest school in the Social Sciences Faculty. Its remit expands to the areas of finance and risk analysis for energy assets as well as the development and optimisation of business models that can maximise their profitability. Not least NBS's research contributes to improved social inclusion and understanding of the societal aspects of technology especially in the energy domain.
NBS is already leading the business models and consumer engagement work in the EU Horizon 2020 funded project TILOS (€15m) and the EU INTERREG FCE funded project ICE (€8m). Both projects focus on low carbon energy innovation being put in best possible use to serve economic development in remote areas.
